I have a wooden shoe from 1902, Germany. The craftsmans name and date is on the back of the shoe, I am trying to find out the value of it, I have searched the web but i am having a problem getting info. on it. I am searching wood craftsman from 1900’s germany, also tried traveling road show but could not find craftsman from germany, any suggestions.

      In 1902 a lot of wooden shoes or clogs were made at home by farmers, because leather shoes were too expensive. Maybe one of those people signed the shoe, but I think that would be unusual, because it wasn’t considered a work of art.
      Maybe somebody else wrote on the shoe.
