Mike R asked:

I have a Craftsman 2550 PSI pressure washer. I need to replace the “hose tail kit”. This is the part that you attach the suction hose to for the detergent. My problem is upon receiving the replacement part I have found that I don’t know what order to assemble the parts. There is a new “valve” but it came with a small spring, metal ball, and a washer. Does anyone know in what order these parts go?

You should be able to download a diagram from craftsman.com and see for sure how to assemble.

If I have to guess it sounds like you should the valve should go on the outside followed by the washer, ball, and spring. It is essentially creating a check valve inline so that it can only suck up the detergent and it won’t put water back into that bucket.
