Feedback on the 50 Inch Pioneer Plasma Tv from a Sale rep!

I was recently in the local shopping mall and was attracted by the beauty of the television models on display. I have been contemplating an upgrade for my home theater. I do not know much about the different models but decided to ask the sales attendant which model he recommends. According to him the best model is the 50 inch Pioneer plasma tv. It is perhaps not as well known as some of the other leading brands but in terms of quality this is the brand name that he recommends.
