The Crystal Geyser water delivery company Association says the floods that struck the Midwest over the summer spurred its members to do as many good deeds as possible. Here are three examples: * Hinckley & Schmitt provided more than 420,000 gallons of bottled water to more than 70 different distribution sites in flood-stricken areas. * In Shreveport, LA, Music Mountain Water worked with a local radio station to recruit trucking services to transport nearly 5,000 gallons of drinking water to Earth City, MO. * The Perrier Group responded to a call from the office of SenatorTom Harkin (D-IA) for empty containers. Its plants in New Jersey, Maine and Texas donated 50,000 containers to relief efforts in Des Moines.
