If you like the look that antiques offer, but you do not like the prices that antique dealers charge for them, a special paint may be the answer. There is a new paint on the market that offers that antique look. The spraypaint is very inexpensive to buy. It comes in a variety of colors too. It is simple to work with. Once you spray it on, you’re done. You simply wait for it to dry. As it dries, the paint will crack and look like a true piece of antique furniture. I used the paint to refinish a bathroom vanity. Antique bathroom vanities were selling for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars at a local antique store. I wanted the look of antique, but I didn’t want to pay the high price to buy an authentic piece. I purchased a can of the new paint for less than ten dollars. A few hours later, I had a bathroom vanity that looked antique. I was happy with the results and even happier with the price.
