What year did Craftsman tools changed the logo that they put on handtools?

I am trying to date a socket set that was given to me. The logo is the “craftsman” where the “C” underlines the rest of the word craftsman.

I think that they changed it sometime in the 50’s but I am not really sure.

If you know of a site or other ways to date it, please let me know.
